Welcome to my blog. My name is Shane Cashin and I am a professional wedding disc jockey based out of St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. Along with my wife Nicole, we own and operate 20/20 Entertainment DJ Services and Design In Colour Decorating. I am at this full time.
I have been a dj since 1995 and a music lover since the age of 3 or maybe earlier in life.
My goal with this blog is to share with you some personal thoughts of mine. I do not intend to have this blog as an extension of my promotions. You can visit my dj site at www.2020entertainment.ca if you need some convincing to hire me as a dj.
As for the goal of this blog, well it is to talk about the day to day experiences of being a wedding dj in Newfoundland. These posts are strictly for sharing my opinions and should not be taken as fact nor are they intended to offend anyone including other professionals out there in the market place. Again, strictly opinions, that's it.
As for the blog's purpose, I don't really have one. I know that a few of my industry friends have blogs on their own and I really enjoy reading their posts. It gives me some insight into why they do what they do. It makes them easier to relate to and if I can have that same affect on my clients and friends, then this blog will be a huge success in my eyes.
With that said, please note that I do not intend for this to be done in the Queen's English nor the spelling be perfect every time. I will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the lingual quality is high, but if you see an issue with my grammar, don't bother calling me out on it. OK?
